Teacher Training Residency

Shady Hill's Teacher Training Residency provides aspiring teachers with well-guided experiences in pre-K through eighth-grade classrooms. EXPERIENCE BOSTON PUBLIC SCHOOLS

In their spring practicum, our apprentices are offered the opportunity to see and experience a different teaching model at PreK–8 Boston Public School Gardner Pilot Academy. Given the expanding diversity in schools everywhere, it is advisable for apprentices to gain practical experience teaching in a public school that includes English Language Learners (ELL) and disabled students.
