We hope to provide prospective families who are applying for the fall of 2026 with a range of opportunities to connect with members of our community during this admission season. While the parent/guardian interview is the best time to focus on questions specific to your child(ren) and family, the events below provide another forum in which you may ask questions and learn more about Shady Hill.

+ Admissions Open House: November 2 (1:00-3:00PM)
Attending our Open House is a great way to experience Shady Hill's campus while learning more about the wide range of academics and activities offered. Our Open House is attended by current faculty who will be available to provide a deeper understanding of our curriculum and programs. In addition to having access to our faculty and administrators, current students, parents, and alumni will be available to share their experiences as well. -
+ Middle School Open House: November 20 (5:30-7:00PM)
Our Middle School Open House is designed for you to experience our school and to learn more about our middle school program and community.

+ Virtual Financial Aid Information Session: December 17 (12:00–1:00 PM)
Join us for a nuts and bolts webinar about financial aid at Shady Hill. We will walk you through the general application process, discuss aspects specific to Shady Hill, and address frequently asked questions.
These virtual sessions are geared towards parents/guardians interested in fall 2026.

+ Beginner & Kindergarten Playgroups: January 10, 24 and 31
The playgroup is an opportunity for us to learn more about your child! They will spend time playing with peers as well as participating in one-on-one time with one of our teachers.
Playgroups take place on Saturday, January 10, 24, and 31, 2026.

+ Admissions Observation Day: January 16 (Half-Day Morning Visit)
Participating in Admissions Day is required for all students applying to Grades III, IV, V, VI and VII.
On the morning of Friday, January 16, 2026, applicants have the campus to themselves! Students will participate in group activities and individual work with a teacher during their visit. (This is an event for applying students only.)
