Auxiliary & Summer Programs

The Afterschool Program provides an afternoon experience for students that supports and complements the overall mission of the Shady Hill School.

We provide a relaxed, safe, nurturing setting that supports:

• Creative Exploration: offers opportunities that balance structure and freedom and encourage creativity, exploration, independence, cooperation, and collaboration.
• Connections: reinforces the essential link between students, parents, and the School.
• Emphasis on Childhood: rigorously honors students' childhoods.
• Nurturing, Relaxed Environment: provides a relaxed, comfortable, nurturing atmosphere that takes into account the end-of-the-day needs of our students
• Safety: provides a safe, age-appropriate setting for children from the end of school until 5:45 PM.

Summer Programs at Shady Hill School offers summer enrichment programs to children of all communities aged 5 to 14 years old. We provide a safe, fun, supportive environment in which children can explore new, challenging, and educational experiences, learn from positive role models, and have the opportunity to build new skills based on individual interests.
