The Future Teachers Institute (FTI) is for college juniors, seniors, and recent graduates who are interested in learning about classroom teaching, Shady Hill School, and the Teacher Training Center’s residency program.
Over Two School Days You Will...

Shadow a current teacher apprentice in the Teacher Training Residency
- Observe classrooms where joyful, active learning is evident
- Attend interview and resume workshops
- Visit our partnering Boston Public School
- Learn more about our fellowship opportunities
- Receive a $300 stipend
