We are so grateful to have held the first all-school, in-person Gratitude Assembly in three years!
Head of School Mark Stanek welcomed everyone and shared his gratitude to the whole community. A land acknowledgment was made to the Indigenous people as he referenced Shady Hill’s mission to strive for racial and social justice. Students in Grades I, III, IV, VI, VIII and Beginners shared poems, songs, dances, and stories that inspired and delighted us all. It was so special to be able to gather and sing together once again. This thought-provoking assembly left students, faculty, and parents/caregivers with something to reflect on as we head into the Thanksgiving break. Thank you to all the performers and attendees!
