For Social Justice Day, Middle School students attended their choice of two workshops where they participated in conversations about body image, cancel culture, racism, faith, and more.
One workshop, “SHS Campus: Got Access?” challenged students to navigate around campus with mobility aids such as wheelchairs and crutches. Another, “Asians in the Spotlight” analyzed media with Asian actors in order to recognize their importance and learn how to spot misrepresentation. The day wrapped up in Assembly Hall where students shared the rhyming couplets they wrote about their experiences from the day. View more photos.
