Books Blast Beginners into Orbit

This week, Beginners read the book “Regards to the Man in the Moon” by Ezra Jack Keats with Ms. Rivas in the library.
In this story, Louie gets teased by the other kids who call his father “the junkman”, but with the so-called junk and some imagination, Louie and his friends build the Imagination I and blast off into space. Our Beginners were mesmerized by the dream-like illustrations and inspired to learn about the power of their imaginations. View photos.
