Tuesday was the 100th day of school and Kindergartners celebrated accordingly! Students worked in pairs to create structures using exactly 100 pieces- whether that be pattern blocks, Magna-tiles, etc. At the end of the activity, they toured their "100 Day Museum" to see the impressive creations their classmates had made. This activity involved many developing math skills, such as cumulative counting, grouping by tens, noticing patterns, and recognizing numbers.
