Lower School (PreK-4) Open House 10/21 2-4 PM

Lower School Open House Attendees,

Cambridge police informed us earlier today that they will be restricting traffic to Coolidge Avenue on Sunday due to the Head of Charles. Please approach Coolidge Avenue from Mt. Auburn Street only and let the officers on duty know that you are attending an approved Shady Hill event. They will let you through to the school.

We look forward to seeing you tomorrow!

Additional Information

Our Lower School Open House is designed for you to experience our school
and to learn more about our program and community.

Sunday, October 21, 2018: 2:00 to 4:00 PM

Click here for an online registration form.
RSVPs help us plan and make your registration faster, but are not required.

The afternoon is designed for you to explore what's most interesting to you. We have several 15-minute presentations scheduled, and you can attend as many as you'd like. In addition, Lower School classrooms are open and staffed by our faculty and current parents. We are glad to show you our spaces, talk about curriculum, and answer any questions that you have. It's a family friendly event: we welcome children but also understand that some parents feel they can learn more without the kids in tow. It's entirely up to you!

Below please see a sampling of presentations* offered at our Open House.

*NOTE the presentations below have been offered in prior years: several will repeat in 2018, and new opportunities will be added.  We're sharing this here to help you get a sense of the afternoon's structure.
